The NRCN holds close ties with the municipalities
and local authorities in the area, focusing especially on education. The NRCN sees
promoting the study of Physics in High School and Junior High School as a goal.
The NRCN is involved in two projects: an Industrial Vocational School at the NRCN,
and a tutor program for High School students focusing on science. Industrial Vocational School The school has been operated by the NRCN for 40 years, and is open to area High School Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors. The school enables the students to acquire vocational training, as well as a general education, that enables them to become better-equipped professionals and more involved socially involved in their communities. The school provides training in many fields required in industry, and the students also participate in fieldtrips and social activities.
