issues of nuclear export controls. The visit took
place after the adoption of the Export and Import
Control Order pertaining to nuclear, chemical
and biological items that incorporated the NSG
control lists. The purpose of the visit was to explore
ways to strengthen the ongoing dialogue between Israel
and the NSG regime.
The delegation was headed by the NSG chairman, Mr. Richard Ekwall, and included representatives of Sweden, Norway and the Republic of Korea.
The NSG representatives met with the Vice Prime Minister
and Minister of Trade, Industry and Labor, MK Ehud
Olmert. They also held discussions with the officials
