On May 22- 23, 2006 the Director of the French Laboratory (GANIL) visited the Soreq Nuclear Research Center (NRC). The Director was accompanied by his Deputy and a scientific expert for SPIRAL 2 project at GANIL.

The visit is a direct outgrowth of the evolving scientific collaboration between France and Israel in the field of fundamental nuclear physics research and the new innovative accelerator being built at the Soreq. (www.soreq.gov.il/default_EN.asp)
