The President of the Romanian National Commission for Control of Nuclear Activity (CNCAN) has visited Soreq Nuclear Research Center (NRC), he was accompanied by the Director of the Division of Nuclear Reactors in the CNCAN. (www.cncan.ro/ro)
The distinguished guests visiting Israel as guests of the Israel Export Institute (www.export.gov.il) toured the Soreq NRC facility and received a variety of presentations in the field of Nuclear Safety. During their visit at Soreq NRC the Romanian delegation have met with the Israel Atomic Energy Commission (IAEC) Head of the Nuclear Regulation and Safety Division- Mr. Ishay Levanon.
The guests also visited the "Rotem Industries" at the Negev and met with several companies dealing in the domain of nuclear and radiological safety.
