- The State of Israel and the CTBT

- Israel signed the treaty in September of 1996, but has yet to ratify it.
- Israel was an active partner in the formulation of the treaty, and continues
to actively participate in the establishment af the treaty's verification regime.
- IAEC personnel represent the State of Israel in the CTBTO's institutions,
working groups and activities.
- As part of the global verification regime, two seismic stations were built.
In addition, a National Data Center and radio nuclide analytical laboratory
were built at the Soreq NRC.
